First Day Jitters....Buh-Bye!

Yes.... I thought this day would NEVER come any faster! BUT it unfortunately has! My Micah Boo has OFFICIALLY started Pre-School!!!! He was having jitters last night & would NOT go to sleep!!! He was sooo trying not to go to school in the morning!
However this morning was a DIFFERENT story! He was soooo excited to get up! He was so funny, Isaiah & Jonah has to get dropped off at 8:00 so that I can take Micah to his school (literally blocks away from his brother's school) since he started at 8:15am & I knew these first couple of days were going to take a long time so he can get used to! When my Hubby went to take the older two, Micah was crying bc he wanted to go with them ;( Don't you worry Sweets! You'll be there next year & the next 5 years over there! lol

As we  made our way to his class, he was stuck like glue by my side! I was surprised he hasn't cried yet. But I kept encouraging him & telling him he was going to have so much fun & he's going to make new friends! I sat w him on the mat & asked him to get a book so we can start reading a book together.

Here he is cracking a smile for me while I'm trying to think of how I am going to leave un-noticed!

Gettin' all shy on me right now... He's totally EYE-ING my every move by now ;)

As I was getting shoo-ed out by the teachers, I can already see the water works are beginning to fill up as I make my way out the door :(

But when I picked this guy up at 12:00pm....

He was ALL SMILES!!!!

He even wanted to take a picture with his new teacher! Mrs. Miroslava... You should hear how he pronounces her name!!! CUTE! He will even correct you if you say it wrong!!! :-)

I knew you were going to have a great first day Babe!!! Bye Bye to first day jitters!!! Because this son of mine is a Big Boy now :)

This picture really shows his character & how goofy this one is :)

Here's to a great 1st year of school Micah & many many more memorable sweet years to come!
I Love You Babe xoxo

Oh Dear....

Finally at 10:32pm HE'S down for the count! Even though I've been trying since 8:45pm after storytime!!!

Yuuuuup! That's my Micah alright. Last night he was out by 8:45pm along w his 2 older brothers.

But not tonite....

I guess he's really nervous about starting Pre-School tomorrow for 4 year olds!
All week last week & early this week I've been pumping him up trying to get him excited about starting school! It was cute even his brothers were playing along & went with it!

But nope...

Not this one.. He refuses to leave my side & begs to stay home!

Oh Dear...

We shall see in the morning when he wakes w his brothers at 7:00am-7:15am!!!!

I will definitely keep u posted :)))

I love u my Mr. Micah!

I know tomorrow will be a great 1st day of Pre school for u!!!! I can't wait to hear how your day went already!

Xoxo

Homework....

Check out my Jonah Boo...

The beginning of his never ending homework days :)

He's only in kindergarten, but their packets literally only consist of 3 pages. He's so funny. He was so excited when we started, & not even 5 min later he asks if he's done yet! Lol

Oh boy, we haven't hit a month yet of school! I just hope he's not going to be like this EVERY time we do homework! Lol :)

In the meantime, I will savor these moments doing homework together!

<3

Love this son of mine

Soccer Mom Here We Come!!!

Today has officially marked my 2 boys starting SOCCER!!!!

Isaiah had his meet & greet meeting last Friday at Beresford Park w his new teammates & new coach. This year he'll be playing in the U8 age group & their uniform color is bright bold red! This will be his 3rd year playing in the AYSO league. We are so happy & relieved that he's on the same team as his cousins Papa & Josh! It'll for sure make this season more fun for Isaiah since last year, he had to make new friends since he didn't know anyone on the team.

Jonah just had his meet & greet tonight at the beautiful Laurelwood Park & luckily he's on the same team as his cousin & uncle, George aka Toti & Spencer :) and also w his cousin on his Dad's side, None Tongamoa. They are in the U6 age, & the youngest in the league. It was so cute when they were trying to come up w a 'team name' for themselves :) They must've listed every green thing (since that's their uniform color, hunter green) u can think of from turtles, squirrels, fishes, water fountains, tigers & so on! So us parents overruled since they were being more playful & not brainstorming :) but u can't blame them! It's their first year so they're just super excited!!!!

I volunteered to be Team Mom for both Teams. I already volunteered for Isaiah first, then I was going to volunteer for Jonah too, but wanted to wait & see if any other parent was willing to do so. The AYSO is majority ALL volunteer. So I figure I'd step it up this year & just get it done instead of the poor coaches begging for someone to do it!

This season kicks off September 10th. So from then on, every Saturday is a game until November 12th :)

Every Mondays from 5pm-6pmis Isaiah's soccer practice & every Thursdays are Jonah's practices from 5pm-6pm as well. Isaiah's games are held at Bayside Middle School, literally down the street from my house :) And Jonah's games are held at Los Prados park which is also down the street from my house :) I'm so grateful to live near their game locations :) It makes life easy for me!

Here goes our 3 amigos when they were deciding Team Red Bulldogs!!!!!

Aaaaaand here goes our newest AYSO soccer player, our very own Team Green Beans!!!!

Let's have a fun & safe soccer 2011 season boys <3

It's the Little Things...

As hectic & crazy as my day was, I managed to make my sweets a simple lunch along w a twist :)

I cookie cut their sandwich w a shape of a heart :)

I called them to come eat & their faces immediately lit up when they saw their heart sandwiches :)

My Jonah's smile nearly from ear to ear saying to me, 'Mommy! It's a heart!!! Oh my gosh I'm so excited! I can't wait to taste it!! Thanks Mom!'

Everyday is truly a gift. And those smiles are what I live for!

It's the little things in life that humble me & make me a better person
<3

I love being their Mommy!

Whew!

I finally jogged today non-stop for 2 miles STRAIGHT!!!!
I hadn't done that in a long long time!!! Maybe back in Feb-April!
I really hadn't focus on time just yet, (maybe bc I'm SUPER slow!!! Lol) so I usually go for just the distance just for now!!!

But I'm sure that'll change (hopefully crossing my fingers & toes!) when I perfect my breathing & my posture when I run bc I know I'm sucking at right now :)

Yay I was so excited when I hit the 2 mile mark! I know I could've pushed for 3 miles, but bc I ran too late in time, I barely made the 2 miles right before the sun had set!!

So a side note for myself, jog EARLIER in the day :)

Him...

I love getting sweet surprises from my Mr.
He was NEVER a writer especially things that had to do w 'love' or 'feelings' He was just too much of a 'thug' back then to do so :)

Almost 11 years later, he was taught, changed, grew & learned to put his guard down. I especially love his notecards he continues to write & different things to fill my love tank :)
I know my HF has a plan for all of us. Whether my blessings will come early or late, if I put him first, they'll come :)

But for now, he continues to fill my heart with his everlasting love for me :)
And that's all that matters right?
Right!
:)

Let's Get Physical

So yesterday was my Day 2 venture on staying on my exercise hype :) I had no sitters to watch my boys so I can get my wannabe physical on :) lol
I just started & I didn't wanna make excuses for myself. So I opt to bring them along w me since we can all benefit from exercising :)
Micah & I picked up Isaiah from school & Jonah was at my Dads. We went home so Isaiah can change out of his jeans to something comfy. We grabbed some water, & we each drank a cup of water, rubbed sunblock on their faces, arms & legs & we were finally off to Ryders!
I wanted to aim to walk 3 miles w the boys, but I knew to take it one mile at a time :)
I had to force my self to make plenty of stops even tho I wanted to just do the whole walk non-stop! Lol I didn't want any fainting kids here :) We made plenty of rest stops, tying their shoes stops, sight seeing stops that included wind surfers on the Bay towards the SM Bridge, a construction site w a huge truck thingy in action & just the Bay full of water my kids loved to see!!! So I tried to make it fun & exciting instead of making it into a boring never ending walk! And w my 3 boys, they get bored real quick!!!!
So instead of 3 miles we completed our 1.5 mile trek. They were surprisingly in great spirits while we were walking! I was really thinking I was going to have to drag all 3 by their shirt collar, but I didn't have to :)
I guess that's a great sign then!!!

It was a great simple experience that I got to spend some QT w them & get our physical on the same time!

Hopefully next time we'll get Daddy to join us! But for now I want to hog up all their sweetness all to myself <3

Sometimes the BEST things in life are FREE :)

Here these 2 go at our last final stop on top of the hill :)

And my Micah always up to no good sneaking splashes of clean water in his leg bc his leg was 'hot' from walking too long :)

Here's to hopefully plenty of miles walking together ;-)

Scrapbooking Absence.....

I must say that I feel guilty that I don't have any current scrapbooks of my kids :(
My Mom made me one simple one that I still treasure as if it it's like the last thing I have in memory of her. It's literally just a simple brown rugged book, with ancient yellow pages, with old pictures of whatever she felt that was important to document at the time of well being. Yes that even includes the dozens of ear infection prescription medicine that's in there it seems like every other page!!! Lol and I wondered why my kids had it for so long like a cold or something! Beside every picture/artifact is a short handwritten explanatory of what it was & the date. No decorations, no stationary, no cute little doodles or any kind of craft substance. Just the book, pages, pictures & her writing. But that's not the point of course, the point is the thought of what was written at the time. The point is she took the time to do so to complete a book that I'll learn to appreciate when I'm much older. And man she's right!

I can't wait to start a scrapbook for each of my kids :) it doesn't have to be super crafty or overly decorated, but the simple fact is as long as you document the importance of every milestone you think is important at that time:)But don't get me wrong bc I enjoy doing crafty things! And I love stationary paper, stickers, pens, fonts & all that crazy weird stuff! Just because my Mom didn't decorate mine, it doesn't really matter. It's simply really just the thought in the end! But I think I want to have fun with mine when I do my boys :)

What sparked me to hurry & get on it was simply jotting down my kid's phrases!!!! They say the funniest hilarious-est things!!!! I want to hurry & write it before I forget! I'm never going to have them at this age so I need to hurry it up & get my tush movin on it :)

Pure Envy :)

It's just not fair! Lol
My Micah was born w NO hair at all & slightly bald on both sides like literally an old man!!!! Lol

I just finished bathing my kids for school tomorrow & Micah's hair was still dripping wet! Lex was reading to the boys before they slept so Micah & I headed to the bathroom to blow dry his soak'n-wet hair!

So I snapped these of him bc I just sooooo wish I had these natural curls!!! Lol

Call me biased but isn't every Mother in love w their own child? lol

Sweet Dreamin Lovers xo

YES We Are Back at IT Again!!!!!! :-)

Ok so I have an embarrassing confession to make. Before I die, I would love to write a book! I know as weird, off & corny as that sounds, I think I would have a fun memorable time! Whether it may be a children's book dedicated to my kids or just a novel book about my family of some sort! I don't know, just don't mind my ramblings :)

Writing has always been something I loved :) but I loathed it during school. Weird I know :) maybe it's the topics I didn't like or the books that we read weren't my cup of tea. During class, in order for me to stay awake, especially during the super boring classes (like history + a boring-er teacher not so good! Lol) I would have a clean sheet of binder paper & literally I would write different song lyrics on each line. Every line was a different song & I would fill that bad boy up real quick!!!! :)

So why are we talking about WRITING?

YES OH YES I have gained a new BABY to add to my collection :)

Isn't she a Beauty??? Now I just need some name suggestions :) I already had Dream, Harmony & SkyBlaze.... I'm thinking of calling her either Hope or Faith... Tate, you got any ideas since you're the GURU of Journal writings & naming her babies??
:)

She just looks so brand new ready to be written in & broken into :)
And there's my bookmarker I want to use when I do start to write in her unfilled pages!!!
I just can't wait to write!!!! I'm getting all giddy just thinking about it :)

Thanks to my awesome brother Mo for buying me my new baby!!! We agreed if he bought me this, I will buy him some white & black T's & I will surprise him & throw a couple of Fresh Apparel's new Bay Area shirts that just came out :) I'm just waiting for the Unga Reunion shirts to come in so I can send it altogether :)

Happy Thursday my loves xo

Another Fun School Year!!!!

Man I can't believe this school year is officially in session :)

Morning drop offs, Packing lunches on the day he doesn't want what the school is having for lunch, 2 different pick up times : Jonah is off @ 12:00pm everyday (Montessori Kindy schedule)
Isaiah is a full day.
Ironing clothes early in the am bc they say their clothes are 'too cold' to put on in the am, rushing a bowl of cereal or a piece of fruit down their throats before their off to school.
Sometimes tardy getting a late slip from the office, rainy days they still have to get up even tho they're freezing cold. Mee too!!!
Volunteering hours at school to get your 30 hours of volunteer time per year. Back to School Nights & Parent Teacher Conferences 2xs a year.
Homework packets to complete w sometimes a whining child, putting them to bed even while the sun is out & my kids are asking 'but Mom, it's not nighttime yet, the sun is still out. That means we can still play!'
A couple of undecided books to read at bedtime before each of the boys say their short funny innocent prayer before bed.

Yes!!! Cheers to all my Hardworking Mommies for our never ending duties when school is in session!!!! :) here's to another great productive purposeful year!!!

And did I mention school forms galore??? Well that too :)
We can do it!!!!
