Day 7

Geez this is a hard one for me :-/ I mean, I'm one of those kind of girls that hold on to EVERYTHING that has value or some sort of sentiment to me. I still have my very first VDay gift my Hubby (boyfriend then) got me! My freshmen year! It was an oil lamp shaped as a heart, that you had to take the cork out of the lamp so I can light the lamp:-) Just truly romantic & he filled the gift bag & gift box in like literally hundreds of red roses... It was just so stinkin' cute!!
I still have some of my Mom's belongings that I wasn't ready to get rid of, I even have a couple of her zip up sweaters that I keep in my closet next to my own sweaters, that when I smell it, I can still smell her scent...I mean the list can go on & on.... But I guess it all boils down to just 1...

I guess to me, that would simply be Pictures...old, new & the present. They capture the sweet memory of that actual day that we can't have back. But a beautiful memory that we remember once we see the Picture...

Especially my Mother being gone, I have her picture everywhere in my room & even my car so my kids never forget her sweet face :-)

Gosh I miss her soo much it hurts sometimes....

Day 6

If I had to trade places with someone right now for a day....

I would definitely trade it w my super hyper-active, whitty, care free, up to no good 3 year old son of mine!!! I would love to re-live my childhood years once again!!! I have the best memories!!!!! Even if its for a day :-)

Love/Hate Relationship....

As A Mommy, it seems like I have never ending unfinished projects, wearing so many hats, going 100 miles per hour, & I admit I even have those lazy days where I absolutely don't do any of my duties!!!

You catch my drift :-) and one of these great responsibilities as a Mommy is doing unending LAUNDRY!!!!

As much as I love clean clothes for my kids, Hubby & myself, I loathe folding them!!!! Lol I can throw them in/out the washer & dryer no biggy, but man folding & putting away can be a pain!!! But since I am a perfectionist, I won't let my Hubby do it bc I don't like the way he folds :) lol call me crazy I know!!!!!!

If I Had One Wish....

     Yes it's been a long sweet while, but yet we are reunited once again!!! You already know I have missed you oh so much!!!! As usual, when you leave for a long period of time, I need to re-cap on such family events ;-) However, that will be in the next post! It will be sort of a "catch-up" date with you!

   Just lately I've been missing my Sweet Mother. As I miss her everyday, but just in these past weeks, it's more of a yearning or longing for her. Gosh, if I had one wish I would wish to hear her angelic voice. I wish I can seek her counsel when I am stuck at a crossroads asking, "Mom what would you do if you were me?" I wish we can  have those long heart to heart talks. I wish she were still alive so whenever me &  my kids want to get away or if me & my Hubby have an arguement, we can crash at Grandma's house knowing we're welcomed there with open arms. I wish I can hug her. I wish I can run errands with her just me & you Mom & have "girl talk." I wish my kids are able to build an inseperable relationship where they cry for you more than me or Leka.


    I have many wishes & dreams if I were ever given one. But in the end, you were called for a greater purpose on the other side. Even though I may not agree of you passing so early for me, I know it's all part of His plan that I will soon understand one day.

Day 5

Greetings my Lovely Dream <3 !!!!

     I am totally lovin' this photo chanllenge ;-) it's totally taking me down memory lane!!! Love it!!!

   Let's see... what is my favorite memory??? Geez, this was just like the previous photo ;/ How do you just pick ONE??? LOL...
    
  
     I guess for me, my FAVORITE MEMORY that I can think of now is, the day we recieved my Angel Mother's Headstone. For my 24th birthday, Novemeber 4th, 2009, my Hubby had planned a surprise dinner for my birthday along with all my closest cousins, sisters & friends. And to me THAT was an awesome gift! Little that I knew, THAT was just the beginning. Before he left, he got me a surprise gift ;-) He was truly a man of honor that night. For my birthday, he bought my Mother's headstone!!!! It was going on 6 years without her stone that Novemeber.

Then finally on June 4, 2010, she recieved her headstone. It took 7 months of meticulously planning. Meeting after meeting with our patient heartfelt counselor. Rough draft after rough draft. Deciding which temple & symbols we were gonna use.  We wanted to make sure IT was right... Right for US... Right for my MOM... SO thanks to my thoughtful Hubby for my 24th birthday surprise... if it wasn't for that night, then June 4th would've never happened...

My awesome brother made the poem up. He's so talented. That day was so  wonderful. One of the Best days of my life for sure!!!

Day 4

My Dearest Dream ;)
    
      Let's see... how in the heck are you supposed to pick ONE memorable night??? That's nearly impossible!!! Hummmm as we all have many many memorable nights, I am trying to see which one sticks out for me? Thanks to my Sweets Tate for doing one that I wanted to do, I think I am going to stick to that idea! Except we're doing it for 2 different reasons ;-)

   So I guess we have a winner! Ding! Ding! Ding! How can I ever forget this night? THIS WAS THE NIGHT ;-) "Midnight Dreams" was the theme of this dance. I was a freshmen & HE was a senior. I had already the BIGGEST crush on him prior before he asking me to this dance. This was my very first dance as a "big girl" that I got to attend! I sooo felt like a big girl! I can still remember getting ready @ Newbridge. I swear that house was like THE MEET UP spot! I still remember getting my nails done a very dark color over @ the Nails Resort. My cousin Tilisa did my hair. I think one of my girl cousins painted my toe nails for me. I still remember shopping for my shoes @ Leeds (aka Bakers now) I totally thought I was cool buying my shoes at a big girl store. And we can't forget  my lovely long coat I got from Forever 21 that my Grandpa had bought me. Well, he just gave Sia money then she bought it for me. So totally juiced to actually attend my 1st high school dance. I can still remember looking back when I was a little girl, looing @ my older cousin's pictures, I couldn't wait to be in high school to take different couple pictures! Now it was finally happeneing to ME! And to top it off, I had the BEST date everrr!!! Having a huge crush was a bonus!  A Definate NIGHT to remember ;-) To remember for a lifetime! For if it wasn't for this night, then there would be no US ;-)

I guess it's safe to say AND THE REST IS HISTORY...

Day 3

Greetings my Lovely Dream!

    So, this is gonna be an interesting one ;-) Let's see... a picture of my favorite TV show cast... This one was a "tuffy" for me since I am such a reality Junkie!!! I mean, you give me a TV network & I will list you atleast name 2 or 3 shows ;-) I know... whatta life right???
    
     Gosh... is there such thing as a "tie?" So, since I can't decide, I will put my runner's up: Keeping Up with the Kardashians: when this first came out, I was a die hard FAN!!! I sure as heck didn't miss an episode!!!
Pretty Little Liars: This is my recent fave that my Sis Lani got me addicted to! Totally such a cute show & their outfits are to die for!!!

So I have a tie... I really DO!!!

KIMORA LEE SIMMONS: LIFE IN THE FAB LANE:
I absolutely LOVE Kimora!!! She's hilarious!!!! As a Mother, Mogul, Entrepenuer, you name it! It's so bad that I can watch re-runs like it was the 1st time I seen it!!! I LOVE everything about her show!!! TEAM KIMORA!!!

Jon & Kate Plus 8: I can still remember the VERY 1st episode... I could NOT believe Kate gave birth to sextuplets!!! I was in Awe & Inspired at the same time!!! I instantly fell in love with the kids!!! I like basically grew up with them beacause of the show! She was TRULY IDEAL to me as Mother... My problems with my 3 kids were very minimal compared to her 8!!! So in a sense, watching her show humbled me how to act with my own 3 kids. I know she would trade places with me in a heartbeat if she wanted to!  She had twins with her 1st 2 kids, then they plan to have just ONE more, they were blessed with 6 instead!!! And the cool part was, her sextuplets were the same age as Isaiah. So it was cool to see that!!!
